한약학을 전공한 한약사이자, 헬스케어 광고회사와 제약회사에서 마케팅 및 사업 개발 실무를 경험했습니다. 세계 50여 개국을 여행하며 각 나라의 apothecary 문화와 전통의학, 헬스케어 트렌드를 관찰해왔고, 한약 역시 세계의 여러 전통의학과 맞닿아 있는 몸을 돌보는 언어라는 점에 주목하게 되었습니다.

현재는 Healthystation과 Weekend Yakbang을 통해 낯설게 느껴질 수 있는 한국 전통의학을 보다 쉽고 친근하게 경험할 수 있도록 현대적인 언어와 감각으로 재해석하는 일을 하고 있습니다.

Through Healthystation and Weekend Yakbang, she reinterprets Korean herbal knowledge through a contemporary lens, making it more approachable and relevant for modern life.

Shin Hyunji is a licensed Korean herbal pharmacist with experience in healthcare advertising, pharmaceutical marketing, and business development. Through travels across more than 50 countries, she has explored apothecary traditions, traditional medicine, and healthcare cultures around the world. These experiences led her to see Korean herbal medicine as part of a broader global language of care that connects many healing traditions.
